Borderlands 4 Officially Announced by 2K and Gearbox Software
Release Date Set for 2025
August 20, 2024 - Today during Gamescom's Opening Night Live, 2K and Gearbox Software officially announced Borderlands 4. Gearbox Software has yet to announce a firm release date, but confirmed the game is coming in 2025.
It was one of the worst kept secrets in gaming, but the announcement comes after weeks of teases on social media from Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford.
Borderlands 4 Confirmed for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S
Borderlands 4 will be available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
